Oh man haha, you heard about him? He's a tradition at Tech where a student accidentally got a hold of two enrollment forms for Georgia Tech and decided to send both of them in, one with a made up name, George P Burdell.

The student who made up Mr. Burdell enrolled him in classes and turned in schoolwork under his name and whatnot, so George P Burdell ended up actually graduating and getting a diploma despite not being a real person. And since then, he's gotten all sorts of records under his name like years of military service even though he's still not a real person.

Well if you're are looking for Universities close to beaches, Try Brisbane, the Gold Coast or Sydney. Shopping you would be looking at uni's in Melbourne. It mostly comes down to what you like really :P try looking through some of Australia's cities for a start, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cities_in_Australia_by_population
Or if you're more concerned about rankings;

In my opinion I love Macquarie Uni, it's a nice suburban university, but if you are more into centralised city campuses try Sydney U, I wouldn't reccoment UNSW - it's a bit of a trek and UWS is well... in sydneys western suburbs (The ghetto area of this beautiful city)

Studying abroad aye? Well that's perfect, it just so happens that the University I study at (MQ U) has the largest student exchange program in Australia! It must be a tough pick between Aus/UK, both have their ups and downs. I can only really speak for Australia though :P I'm in Sydney, it's a good city for international students, lots to see and do. We have lots of wildlife parks, shops and other aussie attractions, but you'll be hard pressed for theme parks :... almost all of ours are up on the Gold Coast (Australia's Las Vegas/Orlando)

So yeah, have a look at some partner universities, I'm not sure whether your uni is a partner with MQ, it's a beautiful uni, great campus life, but again it's very different from US universities, we don't have fraternities or college neighbourhoods, but we have Macquarie Centre just across the road from the campus. You don't get that at any other uni's in sydney :)
