Ninja Kid Hat and Burrowing Beetle

Ninja Kid Hat and Burrowing Beetle

Today, we have a solution presented by Rhythm, found on Wajas as user 63564. About this solution, Rhythm says: "Diglett isn't a Pokemon at all! It's simply a hat worn as a disguise by those creepy ninja children that pop out of the ground! (I apologize in advance for my "mad art skillz") Well, this isn't entirely true... Diglett is actually a kind of burrowing beetle. That occasionally has to come up for air and is mistaken for a mole/head out of the ground thing."... Read more

Parasite

Parasite

A wonderfully unique interpretation of Diglett full with description, this image was created Krista Brzezinski, known on the site Wajas as Anansi (ID: 162824) at the time of her entry.

The Heart

The Heart

The same Inuneko who created the Sensible Diglett also created a second entry, drawn in ink. About this unique interpretation of Diglett, the artist says: "It's a heart... A twisted, evil heart luring innocent trainers in with it's deceivingly cute tentacles! (Anansi said it! XD) As you can see, Diglett and Dugtrio are tentacles that part of the same organism, a giant heart nestled safely underground and protected from other subterranean-dwelling pokemon by its thick skin. The Diglett and Dugt... Read more

The Sensible Diglett

The Sensible Diglett

Following up in a series of great entries as response to the off-site extension of PokeDS's first Pokemon Mystery is the first of two Diglett interpretations brought to you by Inuneko. About this "sensible" solution to the mystery of Diglett, Inuneko writes: "This cute little guy was based on a mole. I figured Diglett must indeed have claws of some sort, conidering it knows scratch, and can learn slash and cut (as well as fury swipes in FR/LG). The scanner messed up the color somewhat, whi... Alert for Danger

Alert for Danger

Today, the Pokemon Desert Shadow is blessed to see another possible solution to the mystery of Diglett, this time brought to you by artist Rem who can be found on deviantART as soundsky. Rem presents an in-depth explanation of her solution:"I have to agree with Sparrow up there, as well as anyone who thinks that yes, Diglett is in fact some sort of mole with a large head and a small body, which is concealed beneath the ground. Coupled with the fact the Diglett is able to learn Scratch, it... Read more

Vestigial Feet

Vestigial Feet

After seeing some wonderful interpretations of Diglett fullbody, I was inspired to quickly whip up my own version! Here, I have Diglett with some tiny little vestigial feet. Perhaps he's so embarrassed of his tiny feet that he told the Pokemon cinematographers and artists to never show them to the world!

Diglett Uncovered!

Diglett Uncovered!

This solution to the mystery of Diglett was presented by Sparrow, User 53132 of Wajas, found on deviantART as Sparradile. Regarding her entry, Sparrow comments: "Well, I figure Diglett is the 'mole' pokemon, so he's some sort of mole. Probably a super creepy one like the marsupial mole (creepiest animal ever o.o), which is why Pokemon never shows its body. All the little kids would be scarred for life. D: So... I did this really quickly since I really don't have time, but I was inspired... Read more
